Piazza Center COP License Fee

Community of Practice Cohort #3 License fee
Contract #C41525 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2025)

In consideration of the grant of license in Section III (language below), Gordie Center shall be paid a license fee of $5,000 for 3 years, renewable upon selection of a new cohort.

The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia (UVA) hereby grants to each of the Piazza Center and the WITH US Center (each a “Licensee”, jointly “Licensees”) a non-exclusive, non-transferrable license, to copy, display, publish and distribute the APPLE model and Athletic Department Assessment Instrument (as modified by the Gordie Center) (the “Works”) in conjunction with the study. Licensees shall not grant sub-licenses without the prior written approval of UVA, which UVA may withhold in its sole discretion. Each Licensee accepts such license and agree that it shall not use the Works except in accordance with the terms and conditions of this MOU and in the study. The term of the license is three years commencing as of the effective date of the MOU and may be renewed upon the recruitment of additional participant cohorts.
